Club Kit Loan Agreement

Introduction
During the Covid19 pandemic, the club cannot run training sessions and the clubhouse cannot be opened for training. However, government guidance now allows water activities of the kind we do, subject to social distancing restrictions. The committee have agreed that club boards can be loaned to eligible club members for their own self-training.
Pre-requisites
Must be a full member of Perranporth Surf Life Saving Club and SLSGB
Must hold a valid SLSGB Lifesaver or Lifeguard award
Must be 16 +
Anyone under the age of 18 must have Parent/Guardian consent
Pay Deposit of £25.
Self-Training
Self-training is not a club activity therefore Perranporth Surf Life Saving Club can not be held responsible for any action you take when training. You are required to follow all Government restriction regarding exercise.
Rules
1. The equipment is loaned to the persons named on this agreement and MUST not be loaned or used by another person.
2. You undertake to store the equipment where it is safe from theft, loss and damage.
3. You undertake to transport the kit yourself safely and without damaging it.
4. You undertake to pay for repairs to any damage incurred while it is in your care if damage is due to misuse.
5.Any damage to kit must be reported straight away to Gear Steward, Tom McRitchie tom.mcritchie@perranporthslsc.org.uk who will arrange with you for it to be fixed appropriately.
6. If you are under the age of 18 you must have consent from your Parent/Guardian.
Provided you behave responsibly and observe these rules, the equipment will be covered by the club insurance for theft and damage. It is recommended that you take out third-party liability or check that this may well come under your own insurance policies. Termination
Coached training is resuming and the kit is required at the club.
Demand is high and the club has implemented an arrangement to move kit on to other members from time to time.
There is evidence that you are not complying with this agreement.
